It was the way my thighs felt against the cool car hood that made me like you so And it was the way a risk can run down a spine that made my blood race as a few bleary eyes stumbled to their cars unaware And it was the way you took me with such strength and stretched me between the moon and a Chevrolet that made me crave you so ~Jewel~

Okay, I have 5 min before my first OAE meeting YEA
Anyways this weeknd was soooo much fun. Friday night the girls and I went down to 723 for quarter bottles and then headed over to fells point cafe. It was a lot of fun getting out and dancing all night. Saterday afternoon we walked over to Hopkins and stopped by the tulip gardens in a nearby neighborhood where we saw the cutest little girl, and I got her number to babysit this summer. We walked to Hopkins to catch the closing of thier spring fair and headd over to see Pat McGee. That was a great show and I had a blast with Meg and Maegan (my future roomates). So afterwards we got lost in the campus and this really cute premed guy talked to us on his way home :) How nice. Sunday Marty came by and we went to Loyolapalooza got free food, ice cream, cotton candy, scow cones, and listened to a really sucky band. After he left I went and saw Dispatch, and they fucking rocked the house! They were amazing and ever since, the halls haven;t stopped playing their songs. Okay..5 min is up gotto go

I am painting a quote on the wall of my dorm: On a pillow of blue bonnets, with a blanket made of stars. Cowboy take me away. -Dixie Chicks
it's turning out pretty good so far, and has a sunset background.

Dear family and friends,
In memory of my father, I set up a cancer research fund that eventually will
be endowed and the interest will generate money that our family will allocate
annually (for two generations) to a place of our choice that does cancer
research.
In the meantime, I am trying to fund annual research projects on a year to
year basis as funding permits. Last year our family raised $1,000 to fund a
summer internship for a medical student at Wake Forest Univ. medical School.
The student did a research project for a dermatologist evaluating the cost of
various approaches to removing skin cancer. The project was a great success.
I was able to meet with the professor and learn about the project. I have the
presentation available in a MS Powerpoint file if you would like to see it!
That project was especially interesting because Steve had a malignant canacer
removed from his skin this past Fall.
Its time to commit to a project for this summer. If you would like to make a
donation, please send to me a check made out to "Wake Forest Medical School."
Any amount at all is welcome! I will turn all the checks in together. My bone
marrow transplant ongologist at WFUMS/Baptist Hospital, Dr. David Hurd, has
requested that we consider funding a summer intern for his research this
summer. I think that will again be especially meaningful and will report back
on the research done.
The time is here to contribute if you choose to. I'll collect the checks this
weekend and turn them in May 1st. Thanks for your willingness to consider
helping out. It feels to me that we are taking part in part of the solution,
even as Dad and I have benefited so much from past research.
With Gratitude,
Jeff

Wow, I haven't been doing the best job of updating the blog have I....sorry to all my thousands of loyal fans out there, I know it means a lot to you hehe. So Loyola College over accepted next years incoming freshman, so now sophmores have no housing. Luckily I went through special interest and already have my room picked out, but somewhere up to 400 sophmores have no place to live when we were garenteed 4 yrs of housing in the contracts we signed. How aggravating is that. I am going home tomorrow afternoon for Easter break. I am going to be home alone too. What fun. I am just going ot sit on my ass watch some free paperview and type up my history paper. Friday night I am going to an O's game YEA! I haven't been to Camdem Yards in a long time. I hope Marty stays over this Friday night. I just like being able to sleep next to him. It's comfortable and safe, especially when I am going to be in the house all to myself. Oh wait...the painter guy is gonna be there...shit...no walking around naked. Damn, I like being able to stut around when no ones home lol....you think I'm kinding don't you.

The other day I went to a lecture on feminism and pro-life here at school. I was expecting it to be very, well, you know...pro-life-ish, but it wasn't bad at all. I have to say, many good points were brought up and she was a great lecturer. I was not bored once in the hour and a half she spoke. I learned a lot about what feminism really is, and learned importand facts about how it started. The most emphasized point: that society looks down upon pregnancy and babies, and that needs to change. And it is true, women never went out in public when they were pregnant and now although we do, not as many children are being born. Women have tried to make it in a man's world to prove that they can be succesful as a man, but it is important to be a woman! Don't feel as if a child holds you back from sucess - you grow as a person when you raise a child. So, needless to say, I personally would never be able to have an abortion, but I am not all for limiting or stopping all abortions. Okay..enough serious stuff for today
Last night I went to Palomas to see HFS constest for the festival. Fidel won! All right...just to let you all know, I am NOT still obsessed with Dave. Yea he's cute, but...its over. So stop with the teasing and "forget about it". The show was great and the place was packed! And I got Sarah hooked onto Fidel too hehe.
Okay off to espanol tarea para mi examen por la manana.

So here's the low down: Lately I have been stressing about classes like a CRAZY person, of course that is what I am, so it shouldnt come as any surprise. It turns out my bio class that I am doing so well in might not even count as a core course requirement that I needed. So I basically wasted 3 credits and all of my time. Grrrrr.... So anyways, I have a 7page paper to start and a powerpoint presentation to do-over. And good news to the guys, I am doing the whole thing on local bands including sound clips and lots of pics. Just giving a plug-in to my computer class. It turns out that my rents are going out of town for Easter, and I am invited to go, but I doubt I will. So you know what that means...come over and PARTY! Keep me company and bring the alcohol. I will spend the majority of my time sleeping, watching free paperview, and I might consider exercising a little bit. Friday night I will be heading off to Palomas to see my baby's band play. He is doing really good, and I am sooo proud of him! Tonight HFS is hosting a thing there for the top three local bands picked to play at the local stage at HFStival, and guess who is gonna be there...DAVE HILL!!! No, I am not still obsessed! Just it would be cool to go see Fidel play. BUT, Marty changed his plans around and wants to hang out tonight, so I don't think I am going anymore. Good thing Sarah is understanding and didn't get mad at me for cancelling plans on her. I need to get pictures developed but I am too lazy to do it. So much for that. It's a pretty nice day out today. The trees outside are starting to bloom, and so are the tulips. Yea, I can't wait until warm weather, I hate the winter time. Okay, I am gonna read my new book: A Heartbreaking Work of a Staggering Genius. It's hilarious and I completely recommend it, and I jsut finished the preface. LOL. Peace out....One Love
