It was the way my thighs felt against the cool car hood that made me like you so And it was the way a risk can run down a spine that made my blood race as a few bleary eyes stumbled to their cars unaware And it was the way you took me with such strength and stretched me between the moon and a Chevrolet that made me crave you so ~Jewel~

Well, this weekend was certainly fun-filled. Thursday, did nothing but sit on my ass, which is NOT fun. I got a little mad at Marty, which I shouldn't have. But I had nothing to do and he went out to the bar instead of coming to see me. That got me on edge, but I really have no right to be like that. I was just jealous that he was out and I wasn't. Thursday afternoon, my english teacher never showed, and I had a HUGE exam in law. I don't know how I did, but I am not as confident as I was last exam.
Friday the girls dragged me out to frats at Hopkins. It was a lot of fun and the guys came too. Marty had to go home after the first one, and I wish he could have stayed and partied :( We went over to pike and danced there until 2 30 ish. It was a lot of fun. Lynds hooked up of course...and who knows what she did :) What a silly girl. Man, I had a lot of really good lookin guys come up and dance with me. It gave me a big ego boost. I just felt bad cause down the hall Sara was dancing with Jon all night, and I didn't want him to get his hopes up. I did such a good job with staying away from bad situations with guys all night long. Joey was my dance partner most of the night, but I don't know why he didn't try and pick up girls. I felt bad dancing with random guys for too long because I know that they just wanted a hook up, so I just minagled my way away. Sneeky little me. I can besuch a tease at times. That night the freakin fire alarm went off again. I was really nervous because I was sleeping and didn't know how long it had been going off for. It was sooooo cold outside and i was in my pjs and a robe.
Saterday night was awsome Marty! We had so much fun and it was so relaxing just to spend time with one another. It was expensive but worth it. This afternoon I was so tired though. It just seemed like I couldn't get enough sleep. Lynds, Taslim and I just got back from primos. I got stuffing for the Thanksgiving dinner tonight that our floor is having. I ran into Ryan and he asked me what I did this weekend, and I don''t know why but I told him I got a hotel room Saterday and partied Friday. I don't know why I told him. I feel like a slut now. I don't think he knew that I had a boyfriend...and I need to learn when to shut my mouth sometimes. Oh well. I sent out cards to some of the girls just to say hi. I hope that I get a response out of them. Looking forward to some turkey!

Saterday night I went over Jon's for a party, but left at like 2am cause I had to get up early, but I always make thewrong decisions don't I. The party was a lot of fun, and there were more people there than usual. Sunday I got up early and went to Washington DC with a couple people from my Alpha class and went to the Holocaust museum. It was so sad and depressing. I was on the verge of crying the whole way through. You think you know a lot about it, and then there is just so much information, and so many pictures and stories that it just blows your mind away. There was one clay model of the gas chambers and all of the people waiting outside. It was so detailed and beautiful and on such a horrible subject. I just sat there and looked at that forever. Ok, enough about that, too many bad memories coming back to me.
We also went to the Vietnam memorial, which was not as impresive of a design as I thought it would be, but it was an impressive strip of names and flowers. Walking through I wondered to myself how many people are just walking through as a tourist, and how many are walking through to remember people that they had lost. There were just so many flowers everywhere.
I have a big exam today in law that I have been going semi crazy over. I think I'm actually starting to get into the studying thing. I have never really done it that much before this either. I even took a lot of notes to help me study for spanish yesterday, which is almost unheard of for me. I really like it here, but the classes this semester are not the best ones. I'm a little bored at times with them, but I still don't have as good of grades that I want.

Wow, it's been a long time since I've written anything. Friday we all went to a UMBC frat party. Jonathan knew more people there than I did :) It was fun but we left a little early and caught the midnight breakfast. Saterday slept in till 2pm ooops. Saterday night, Marty got together with this guy Dan to jam a little. Dan was awsome at drums. It was a lot of fun to listen to them, and Marty did really well. I was impressed with it all. Then we just sat outside at the bonfire in Dan's backyard. Sunday Taslim, Lyndsey and I went to my house with takeout Chinese food to celebrate by 18th BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got an awsome stereo which I'm listening to right now, a beautiful watch from Marty, Bath and Body Works stuff from Whit, a $100 gift card to best buy, and $100 in moola from grandad and marty's 'rents. Everything turned out well for me :) Monday I went home and just chilled all night. This morning I went and voted! Turned 18 just in time!!!! I voted for Nader, only becasue it was a giveaway that Gore was going to win MD's electoral votes anyway, so I voted for who I really wanted. Right now Bush is winning, but Gore won Florida's votes so it's lookin good. We'll see later tonight.

Holloween was really cool last night. Marty, Jeff and I went to Hard Rock for some music. Spinfire was there and so was a lot of imaginative people. Some of the costumes were unbelievable. I feel bad for giving Marty an attitude because he wanted to leave pretty early. I shouldn't have done that.
Today I thought of a really cool idea for a business chain...Imagine an art store with lessons in painting, pottery, as well as classes in literature and poetry, and also rooms and classes for instrumental lessons. Almost like an athletic club membership to the place, but only exercising the creative part of your mind. Well, I thought it was a good idea.
